We gather in the southwest Sunday school room for scripture reading, sharing about our lives and then prayer together for each other, our church and community.

9:30 am

Children: Classes in the basement. Preschool, room 2. Grades K-5, room 4.
Merge Intergenerational Class:
Grades 6-12 and adults, basement room 7
Adult Classes: International Lesson in the fellowship hall and the southwest classroom.

NOTES AND HAPPENINGS

Weekly Prayer Focus: Pray for the children in Kids Club that our church supports as teachers and mentors and with funds for supplies.

The Trustees, Fellowship Committee, and Church Council are in the planning stages of a project to increase oven space in the church kitchen. Donations for this project may be earmarked in the offering.

All women are invited to join a breakfast and Bible Study on October 19 at 9 am on the 2nd floor of Park Place at VMRC. Please let Crystal Trost know if you can come.

Plans are to reseal the church parking lot Wednesday and Thursday of this coming week, weather permitting. We will not be able to enter the parking lot area until Friday morning. Please plan accordingly.

Pastor Jim will be in Bolivia on a Mennonite Central Committee Learning tour. He joins a group of 5 other persons who will visit 6 different projects that MCC is supporting in Bolivia. The projects include agricultural, water and educational projects. He will leave November 3, Sunday, in the afternoon and return November 18. More details to follow. .
