Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church Bulletin

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." -- Colossians 3:12-14 (NIV)

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Wednesday, January 2: Mennonite Women will meet at the church.

Saturday, February 16: Understanding Dreams Workshop

NOTES AND HAPPENINGS

Weekly Prayer Focus: As we at Mt. Clinton Mennonite look forward to a new year, let us pray that all who come and worship with us will see evidence that Jesus Christ is indeed Incarnate; Emmanuel, God with Us...empowering us to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Understanding Dreams Workshop: For the women of our congregation. On Saturday, February 16, 2019 (9 am to noon), join us for an interactive exploration of dreams. Bring a dream you are willing to share with others, and during this three-hour workshop you will have the opportunity to unpack the contents of the dream. We will explore the dream as a story or drama, looking at plot, characters and symbols, all of which represent parts of your inner life. Dreams can help you understand yourself better. They can facilitate a deeper spirituality. Dream work can be challenging, uplifting and fun! Mert Brubaker will be our leader. PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is limited to the women of the congregation because of the intensity of our shared journey of loss and grief this past year. Contact Crystal Horning at (540-808-9565 or crystalkhorning@gmail.com ) with any questions.
