Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church Bulletin

"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."   --Galatians 3:26-28 (NIV)

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Wednesday, February 20: Wednesday Night Fellowship

NOTES AND HAPPENINGS

Weekly Prayer Focus: Let us pray that the Spirit of God will move in our midst as we continue to discern the way forward here at Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church.

Our next Wednesday Night Fellowship will be February 20, instead of the 13th, since we will be having a fellowship meal on February 10. We will have a craft activity (see sign-up on foyer table), games, quilting, and prayer time.

Remember!!! On February 16, from 9-12, Mert Brubaker will provide a workshop on dreams for the women of our congregation. The workshop will be held in the youth room of our church. Remember to sign up (sheet on the foyer table) no later than February 10 if you are planning to attend. Light refreshments will be provided. For questions contact Crystal Horning, crystalkhorning@gmail.com or 540-808-9565.

Active members are invited to return a paper pastoral search ballot to the box in the foyer by next Sunday, February 17. Electronic ballots may be returned to Church Council Chair, Paul Yoder, via email (pjyoder@gmail.com) by February 17.

We will collect contents for hygiene kits during February and put them in bags during a Wednesday Night Fellowship. Needed items are: 1 adult-size toothbrush (in manufacturer’s packaging); 1 large bar bath soap (leave in wrapper); 1 nail clipper (good quality); 1 hand towel (medium weight, dark or bright colors; approximately 16 inch x 26 inch); 1 wide-toothed comb (6–8 inch).
