Weekly Prayer Focus: Pray for all those involved in education, especially our students who are either entering school for the first time or returning to school. May they be diligent and grow in character as Jesus followers!

The Trustees, Fellowship Committee, and Church Council are in the planning stages of a project to increase oven space in the church kitchen. Initial funds toward the purchase of a double oven have been set aside with the goal of raising the remaining half through special giving. Donations for this project may be earmarked in the offering.

Please return the Elder Affirmation Form and the Gift Discernment Ballot today. Boxes are on the foyer table.

Kids Club Volunteers and anyone interested are invited to a potluck meal and resourcing event on Wednesday August 21 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Shady Oak at Weavers Mennonite Church. EMU Professor Bonnie Yoder and local teacher and Kids Club volunteer Peyton Erb will present on the topic "Nurturing a Caring Community at Kids Club." Childcare will be provided.
